दिल्ली के विधानसभा चुनाव में 27 सालों बाद भाजपा की वापसी हो गई है। दिल्ली की 70 सदस्यीय विधानसभा में भाजपा ने दो तिहाई से ज्यादा सीटें हासिल कर, झंडा गाड़ दिया है। वहीं आंदोलन से निकली आम आदमी पार्टी लगातार तीन बार सरकार बनाने के बाद अपने चौथे चुनाव में बुरी तरह से हार कर सत्ता बाहर हो गई है। वर्ष 2013 में 28, 2015 में 67 और 2020 में 62 सीटों के साथ दिल्ली में सरकार बनाने वाली आम आदमी पार्टी इस बार महज 22 सीटों पर ही सिमट गई है।

अरविंद केजरीवाल को भाजपा उम्मीदवार प्रवेश वर्मा ने विधानसभा का चुनाव हरा दिया है। अब नई दिल्ली की वीवीआईपी विधानसभा सीट से प्रवेश वर्मा विधायक होंगें। हालांकि चुनाव हारने के बावजूद अरविंद केजरीवाल को हरवाने में सबसे बड़ी भूमिका कांग्रेस उम्मीदवार संदीप दीक्षित ने निभाई है।
भाजपा के टिकट पर चुनाव लड़े प्रवेश वर्मा ने नई दिल्ली विधानसभा सीट पर 30 हजार 88 वोट हासिल कर अरविंद केजरीवाल को 4089 वोटों से हरा दिया है। कांग्रेस उम्मीदवार संदीप दीक्षित को नई दिल्ली विधानसभा सीट पर 4568 वोट मिले हैं। यह आंकड़ा साफ बता रहा है कि अगर संदीप दीक्षित 4568 वोट नहीं ले जाते तो आप सुप्रीमो अरविंद केजरीवाल 4089 वोट से विधायकी का चुनाव हारते नहीं। इस सीट पर केजरीवाल को 25 हजार 999 वोट ही मिल पाए।
यह कहा जा रहा है कि अरविंद केजरीवाल को हराने में बड़ी भूमिका निभाकर संदीप दीक्षित ने अपनी माताजी स्वर्गीय शीला दीक्षित के अपमान का बदला केजरीवाल से ले लिया है। दरअसल, 2013 के विधानसभा चुनाव में तत्कालीन मुख्यमंत्री शीला दीक्षित के खिलाफ बड़ा अभियान चलाकर केजरीवाल ने उन्हें भ्रष्टाचार का बड़ा प्रतीक बना दिया था। वर्ष 2013 में हुए विधानसभा चुनाव में शीला दीक्षित को हराकर ही अरविंद केजरीवाल पहले नई दिल्ली से विधायक चुने गए थे और बाद में कांग्रेस के 8 विधायकों के समर्थन से मुख्यमंत्री बने थे। लेकिन इस बार संदीप दीक्षित ने उन्हें हराने में बड़ी भूमिका निभा कर अरविंद केजरीवाल के राजनीतिक नेतृत्व पर ही सवालिया निशान लगा दिया है।
वोट शेयर की बात करें तो, भाजपा सीटों के साथ ही वोट शेयर के मामले में भी नंबर वन पार्टी बन गई है। दिल्ली की जनता ने 45.56 प्रतिशत मतों के साथ भाजपा को 48 सीटें दी हैं। वहीं आम आदमी पार्टी 43.57 प्रतिशत मत हासिल होने के बावजूद सिर्फ 22 सीटों पर ही जीत हासिल हो पाई है। आप को हराने में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाने वाले कांग्रेस का मत प्रतिशत इस बार थोड़ा बढ़कर 6.34 प्रतिशत तक तो पहुंच गया लेकिन उसे एक भी विधानसभा सीट पर जीत हासिल नहीं हो पाई।
