The Second Edition of MPs National Badminton Tournament- 2018 is held at the Constitution Club of India from 6th March 2018 to 8th March an event organized by the Constitution Club of India (CCI). According to Director – Constitution Club of India Arvind Kumar ,The state of the art Indoor Badminton court was inaugurated in 2015 by the present Vice-President of India and then Minister for Urban Development, Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation M Venkaiah Naidu.
Subsequently, the First Edition of Members of Parliament – National Badminton Tournament was held in 2016.
The tournament was a phenomenal success which saw the participation of many MPs &Bureaucrats.The friendly inauguration match was played by Union Minister for Law & Justice Ravi Shankar Prasad , . MoS (IC) for MSME Giriraj Singh, . MoS Parliamentary Affairs and Water Resource, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation Arjun Ram Meghwal , MoS Agriculture and Farmer’s Welfare Gajendra Singh Shekhawat.
The second edition of the MPs Badminton Tournament will witness participation of many MPs like Dushyant Chautala , Nishikant Dubey, Vivek Gupta, Ajay Nishad, Sabir Ali, Anurag Thakur, Rahul Kaswan, Sanjay Nirupam, Rajiv Pratap Rudy, Ram Mohan Naidu, Ramvichare Netam, K D Singh, Tej Pratap Yadav, Ranjeeta Ranjan , Brij Bhushan Singh, Anbumani Ramadoss , Neeraj Shekhar, Sanjay Jaiswal .
Constitution Club of India, which is celebrating 71 years of its existence, has effectively emerged as an enviable forum for its members cutting across party lines bringing them together as one family through its day-to-day activities. The facilities offered by CCI have been admired by the members and the response from the public at large is highly appreciated.
Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan is also the President of the Constitution Club of India. Former Union Minister Rajiv Pratap Rudy is the Secretary (Administration), Governing Council.
